Human Resources Clerk
Candidate filling this position will provide general clerical and administrative assistance in various facets of human resources functions, processes, and initiatives. Duties will include, but not be limited to: assisting in applicant review and processing, setting up interviews, and reference checking selected job candidates; scheduling, coordinating and engaging in the new employee on-boarding process; assisting in updating policies and procedures and maintenance of personnel files; processing, facilitating, and following-up on workers’ comp claims; assisting in the benefits administration process; assisting in tracking, documenting and follow-up action regarding employee attendance, PTO and leaves; and helping plan, set-up, and participating in internal and external CCMH functions. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED with preference given to candidates with higher education and/or HR credentials. To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years on-the-job training in general HR functions and have a working knowledge of federal regulations and knowledge base of HR law.
