Facility Services and Maintenance Tech
Position will assist in the maintenance and upkeep of CCMH buildings, equipment and grounds in an effective and efficient manner. Primary duties will include, but not be limited to, the following: Checking and maintaining all facility equipment, machinery, buildings and grounds in accordance with established protocols; repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures (including water and sewer lines) as necessary; performing daily/weekly/monthly and seasonal maintenance inspections and making repairs and changes required, documenting issues and actions taken; perform routine building construction and repair needs, including painting, replacing floors and ceilings, electrical wiring, roof repairs, etc.; maintain and repair all equipment and components in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters, lubricants, etc.) and contact manufacturer as necessary to ensure continuity of business and services. Successful candidate will have unencumbered MO driver’s license, a broad working knowledge of construction and institutional building maintenance and associated tools, proficiency in equipment repairs, hands-on training and experience in plumbing and electricity with ability to read and understand blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogues. Position requires bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing with good balance, and dexterity and speaking, hearing, and vision within normal range.
