Respiratory Therapist or LPN with Respiratory Care Training
CCMH has a position open for a Respiratory Therapist or an LPN with respiratory care service training and experience. Interested candidates must be able to administer respiratory therapy treatments and nebulized medications, understand the purpose of each and potential side effects, and ensure that routine protocols and physician-specific directions are followed for all diagnostic tests. Primary duties will also include setting up and monitoring mechanical ventilators to perform ordered respiratory care treatments, performing arterial punctures to obtain blood for blood gas analysis, performing EKG’s and reporting interpretations to providers, accurately documenting all pertinent data on the patient’s medical records utilizing CCMH EMR system, and other functions within the scope and expectations of respiratory therapy care. Formal Respiratory Therapy training and education or unencumbered LPN licensure with RT training and experience required, as well as BLS and ACLS certification.
