Paramedic
Candidate chosen to fill this position will be expected to provide quality, timely and compassionate Emergency Medical Care in the ER/Med-Surg arena within the scope of their licensure, training, and experience. Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: assessing, triaging, and providing appropriate medical care to patients; preparing and setting up medical equipment and assisting with patient care procedures; performing intake duties (including registration); initiating and observing progress of intravenous infusions and subcutaneous infiltrations; changing or assisting physicians and nurses in changing dressings and cleaning wounds or incisions; administering ACLS protocol and procedures, including endotracheal intubation; and other assignments within the field of EMT-P. Qualified candidates will have a current, unencumbered MO EMT-P license, ACLS and PALS certifications, and 3-5 years of experience as an EMT-P. Excellent patient and co-worker communication, organizational, time management, and computer/EMR skills a must.
